The pre-trade checklist
In 1935, Boeing's Model 299 (later the B-17) crashed on its demo flight because a veteran pilot forgot one step: the gust locks were still engaged. The plane wasn't too hard to fly; it was too much airplane for one person's memory. The pilots' fix wasn't 'concentrate harder'. It was the checklist. Decades later surgeons copied it, and early WHO studies saw complications fall by roughly a third. Your trades deserve the same technology.
